People playing pickleball at West Hills

Pickleball is considered the fastest growing sport in America today. Pickleball is a fast-paced sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is appropriate for all ages and skill levels: it is relatively quick and easy to learn to play and can also be quite challenging and fast-paced at the more competitive level.

Pickleball is not reserved for just the 50+ age group. Athletes from PGA golf pros (Michael Putnam & his San Diego Padre teammates) to high school softball players have picked up the game as a cross training tool to improve their foot speed and hand eye coordination.

Now is the perfect time for you to give pickleball a try.

Eliot Stevenson

PPR Certified Pickleball Coach

With a strong background in tennis, playing all four years in high school and two years in college, he took to pickleball very quickly and hopes to bring the fastest growing sport in America to our membership community. His curriculum heavily mirrors that of your basic tennis stroke forms so those of you still playing tennis won’t learn any bad habits alternating back and forth from pickleball to tennis.

Eliot is available to provide private and group lessons (1 – 4 participants). He can teach all levels from beginners to those looking to enter competitive play. Call the club to arrange a lesson for you and your friends.
