What’s the difference between a Tennis Membership and a Health Membership?
Tennis Memberships include access to tennis courts at both clubs, fitness facilities, the pool (West Hills only), tennis leagues, social play, and discounted tennis lessons. Health Membership includes access to both fitness centers, group fitness classes, personal training, the pool, and pickleball. A 6-month contract is required. Both memberships offer Single and Family options. Enrollment fees apply for all memberships.
What is a junior membership?
Junior Memberships are available to anyone 22 or younger. Junior members have access to both clubs, junior tennis programs, match events, tournaments, and summer camps. Junior membership availability may be limited, so contact the Membership Team for current availability.
How much does membership cost?
Membership pricing can vary and is provided by the Membership Team. Additional fees may include:

What makes WAM Clubs unique?
WAM gives you more ways to stay active, all under one membership at two clubs. Together, West Hills and Mountain Park offer 28 tennis courts, 16 pickleball courts, newly remodeled fitness centers, and a year-round heated outdoor pool with programs like swim lessons and more. You also get the benefit of 101 combined years of community and expertise, with West Hills serving members since 1968 and Mountain Park since 1973.
What is a family membership?
Family memberships are available for adults in a domestic relationship and their children under 22. One membership gives your family access to both West Hills Racquet + Fitness and Mountain Park Racquet + Fitness. Grandchild and nanny add-ons are only available during the summertime.
Can I buy a day pass to use the pool?
WAM Clubs are private membership clubs and do not offer a general public pool day pass. However, we do offer 3-day free guest passes to try out the clubs if interested in becoming a member. Must organize this with Membership Team in advance of use.
Non-members may use the pool as a guest of a current member. The guest fee is $20 for health/pool use, and guests must be accompanied by a member.
Guests are limited to one visit per month.
Can I bring a guest to the fitness center or tennis courts?
Yes. Guests are welcome when accompanied by a member.

Can I tour the club before joining?
Yes. You can schedule a visit to tour either club, see the facilities, and talk with the Membership Team about available membership options.

Do you offer beginner tennis lessons for adults?
Yes. Adult group lessons are offered in seasonal terms and are organized by skill level, so beginners can learn alongside other players at a similar level. Lessons cover tennis fundamentals, strategy, footwork, fitness, and doubles play.
Do you offer private tennis lessons?
Yes. Private and semi-private lessons are available at both West Hills and Mountain Park. Lesson availability and pricing vary by tennis professional.
Non-members are welcome to take one term (3 months) of Private/Semi Private tennis lessons at either club. Non-member rates are approximately 20% higher than member rates. Required to have a guest account created by the Membership Team in advance of club use. Credit card on file and payment in full required at time of registration. Must join the club to continue taking lessons after one term as a non member.
What age can kids start a Junior Membership?

Do you offer social tennis?
Yes. Both clubs offer hosted drop-in opportunities, including women's, men's, and coed play. These are a great way to get match experience and meet other players. Check the current tennis schedule for dates, times, and skill levels.
Can my child take private tennis lessons?
Yes. Private and semi-private lessons are available at both clubs. Lessons can be scheduled based on your child's age, skill level, and availability.
What does the Junior Tennis Program include?
The Junior Tennis Program is organized by age and ability, from beginner fundamentals through competitive training.

Why do younger players use different colored tennis balls?
Junior players use lower-compression balls and smaller courts as they develop their skills. Players typically progress from red to orange to green-dot balls before moving to standard yellow tennis balls.
How many pickleball courts are available?
WAM Clubs has 4 outdoor pickleball-only courts plus 8 tennis courts with pickleball overlays—4 indoor and 4 outdoor—giving members options for year-round play.

What pickleball options are available at WAM Clubs?
Members can take private or group lessons, join drop-in play, participate in tournaments, or attend clinics designed for different skill levels. Beginners are welcome.
Is pickleball included with a Health Membership?
Yes. Health Memberships include access to pickleball lessons, drop-in play, clinics and tournaments, but court reservations are not included. Court reservations require a Tennis Membership.

How do I get started with a personal trainer?
All our trainers manage their own schedules. Please reach out to your preferred trainer directly via email to schedule a session.
How do I cancel or reschedule a training session?
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for all training sessions. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the session are subject to the full session charge. Please contact your trainer directly to make any changes to your appointment.
Do I need to reserve a spot in advance to group fitness classes?
No. All classes are available on a drop-in basis and are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on available space and equipment.
Can I bring my own outside trainer?
​For insurance and liability reasons, only trainers employed by the facility are permitted to train members on the premises.
Where can I view the group fitness schedule?
Our live, up-to-date group fitness calendar is always available on the Group Fitness Schedule page. You can also view and book classes through the facility’s mobile app.
Are classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Our instructors provide modifications and variations to accommodate all fitness levels and experience levels.
What are the peak hours of operation?
The facility is typically busiest from 6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 5:00 PM–8:00 PM. To minimize waiting times for cardio equipment and squat racks, we recommend visiting during mid-morning or early afternoon hours.
Are lockers and towel service provided?
Day-use lockers are complimentary, and towel service is included with memberships.
Is the pool open year-round?
Yes. The West Hills pool is open year-round. During the summer, the pool hosts family swim with lifeguard on duty, lap swimming, water aerobics, and club events.
What is the proper gym etiquette?
​Please help us maintain a clean and welcoming environment by wiping down equipment after use, re-racking weights, and wearing appropriate, non-marking athletic footwear.
Which club has a pool?
West Hills has a heated outdoor pool that is 25 yards long with five lanes, plus an attached hot tub.
Do you offer swim lessons?
Yes. West Hills offers private and group swim lessons for members during the summer, typically June through August.
WAM Clubs also has the Dolphins Swim Team, a year-round competitive swim program.
